Sir,
The Hong Kong Artillery Volunteers now numbering 75 have on loan from the Ordnance Department only 33 Snider Carbines.
A requisition for 150 Martini Henry Carbines and accoutrements was forwarded in October 1882, but as yet these Carbines have not arrived in the Colony. I have the honour, therefore, to forward another requisition
